What to have open
- QuickBooks Online (or Desktop, or whatever you use), logged in
- Your field software too, if you have it: ServiceTitan, Jobber, Housecall Pro, FieldEdge
- A computer, not a phone, so the screen is readable
- Whoever actually does the books. Bring them. They'll know where things are.

What the review is, and isn't
It's a fast, honest look at the books by someone who only works with trade shops: HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. It's not free bookkeeping. We don't fix anything on the call and we don't take work home. If the books are in good shape, we'll tell you that too.
